Isobutane dehydrogenation technology refers to the catalytic dehydrogenation of isobutane to isobutene.

Isobutene is an important chemical raw material, It can be used to produce MTBE, to produce isooctane by alkylate and produce other chemical products of butyl rubber polyisobutylene methacrylate isoprene alcohol. It is considered as the most important basic chemical raw material after ethylene and propylene. China is rich in C4 resources, mainly because in recent years, the refinery production capacity and ethylene cracking capacity has been greatly improved, with a large number of by-products of C4. But, China's C4 utilization rate is very low, only 7.8, That compares with 80-90% in America, 60% in Europe and 64% in Japan, Our country is vastly different from them. Use Isobutane as a raw material to dehydrogenate to isobutene, not only can make C4 resources get better use, but also can get higher value-added products, is also a great contribution to the society.

4、T-BDHTechnical Process Introduction

Adopt fixed bed technology, three reheating furnaces and three fixed beds are used in series.Two systems are used,,each system has three reactors, one set is in normal production,the other is in the regeneration or waiting stage , switching two sets of systems to achieve continuous production.

5, Process characteristics

The catalyst adopts high active carrier imported from Germany,Impregnate Pt by a special method,have high activity and stability,long regeneration period and fixed bed dehydrogenation process is adopted,it needs simple equipment, less investment, easy to operate.
